Football fans are generally an easy bunch to anger, but there is nothing that draws their ire and fury more than the sight of a once favoured star moving to a rival club.

Stars such as Sol Campbell and Luis Figo can attest to how much abuse a contentious transfer can spark, sometimes the abuse can get out of hand and unpleasant, such was the case with Campbell.

Many supporters would vow that the players would never be welcomed back to the club should the opportunity arise, but there are a few moves that could well be possible and make perfect sense on the pitch.
