Tottenham have beaten rivals Arsenal to the signature of highly rated youngster Musa Yahaya, according to reports.
Reports in Africa say that Tottenham have beaten off competition from both Arsenal and Dutch outfit Ajax to his signature - although he is unable to sign a professional deal because of his age.
AllAfrica.com say that the talented youngster, who operates as a second striker, will be in London on Sunday to sign a preliminary contract - and will put pen to paper on a four-year deal at White Hart Lane when he turns 18.
According to the website, he will travel with one of his agents and the coach who have been granted visas to enter the United Kingdom.
The news will come as a boost to Tottenham given that rivals Arsenal were also in the running for his signature.
Spurs are currently locked in a battle for 4th place and Champions League qualification with Liverpool, while Arsenal are gunning for the title but face stiff competition from Manchester City and Chelsea.
