Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player to score in every single minute of a football match, reports the Mail Online.

The Real Madrid star's goal in the seventh minute of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid means Ronaldo has now scored in every minute of the 90 - something Lionel Messi hasn't done.

The Argentine may have been the man who prevented Ronaldo winning every award there is in the last five years, but he was not able to stop Ronaldo making history this time.

Indeed, there are still seven minutes in which Messi hasn't scored. Barcelona's all-time top scorer has failed to find the net in the 1st, 2nd, 10th, 14th, 15th, 46th and 69th minutes of a game.

Ronaldo's latest goal secured his side's progression to a 39th Copa del Rey final, where they will play, you guessed it, Barcelona.

The Catalan's drew with Real Sociedad thanks to a Messi strike, and the two will meet in a repeat of the 2011 final, which finished 1-0 to Jose Mourinho's Madrid, in April.

For now, Ronaldo can add the title of 'a goal in every minute' to the Ballon d'Or he won last month.
