Here are five of Real Madrid's best signings under the guidance of president Florentino Perez...
5 – Gareth Bale
Still relatively unproven at Los Blancos, but the Welsh Wizard was a fantastic player for Tottenham Hotspur and since moving for a world-record fee he has done very well.
4 – Mesut Ozil
The German playmaker was, in my view, extremely undervalued at the club, but regardless he did do very well indeed. One of the leading assist makers in all of Europe, any team he plays for benefits greatly.
3 – Luis Figo
One of the original Galacticos of the Perez era. Figo was not only quick and strong but he also popped up with many goals. He was one of the main reasons - along with Zidane - that Madrid won their ninth Champions League title in 2001.
2 – Zinedine Zidane
One of the greatest to ever play the game. Graceful, elegant, fantastic - there are too many words to describe the French maestro. Zidane was an absolute magician on the pitch.
A goal that defines him was the goal in the Champions League final in 2001 in which he netted a left-footed volley which won them the trophy.
1 – Cristiano Ronaldo
A true legend and his story isn’t even done yet. Since moving to the club in 2008, Ronaldo has been one of the best players in the world. He is arguably the most athletic player in the world has and he has absolutely sublime technique.
By far and away the best Real Madrid signing of the past decade.
