Chelsea are set to complete the £3million signing of Hajduk Split midfielder Mario Pasalic in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Croatia U19 international has been heavily linked with a move to west London, as the Blues look to continue recruiting the brightest up and coming talent on the continent.
Jose Mourinho has made it his mission to nurture and develop a number of exciting young players during his second stint at Stamford Bridge, and looks to have identified Pasalic as a possible star of the future.
Talks between Chelsea and the 19-year-old were believed to be ongoing last month, but it now looks as though an agreement has been reached for his transfer, after the player announced at Hajduk Split's 103-year anniversary celebrations that he would be joining the Premier League giants at the end of the season.
"The Hajduk jersey is sacred and I will miss it in the summer when I go to Chelsea," he said.
Once the deal is formally announced by the club, Pasalic will join French defender Kurt Zouma in arriving in England during the summer, after Chelsea also agreed a move with St Etienne for the centre-back last month.
