Wade didn't realise Heat had won when LeBron James made buzzer beater

Last night LeBron James added to his already emphatic clutch status with a last second buzzer beater to defeat the Golden State Warriors.

James made the shot with less than a second left on the clock to leave his Heat team victorious by 111-110, and has received plaudits from all corners since.

But it seems his long time friend and Heat teammate Dwyane Wade was left wondering what was happening as LeBron's shot landed in the basket.

As reported by Brian Windhorst on ESPN.com, Wade was left in the dark at the key moment as the rest of the watching world sat back in appreciation:

"So there's a 10-second delay on the (locker room) TV.

"I just heard this 'oohhhh' and I knew something had happened. I heard someone run down the hall and yell, 'Damn it Lebron,' but I had to wait to make sure."

A late call on a foot injury meant Wade missed the match up last night and was left to watch on from the sidelines - the 15th game this season the Heat man has missed through injury.

So with the game heading for a climactic finish, the three-time NBA Champion found himself relying on the television in the locker room at the Oracle Arena - as well as the gasps of the crowd.
