Mario Balotelli is reportedly on his way to Arsenal after Arsene Wenger has held talks with his agent, over a possible summer move for the AC Milan man.
Balotelli only moved away from the Manchester club around a year ago, as his relationship with former manager at Manchester City, Roberto Mancini, started to disintegrate.
His talent was never doubted at City, but his temperament and work ethic came under question on a number of occasions.
Balotelli won the Premier League whilst at the Manchester-based club, and provided the assist for the now famous Sergio Aguero last gasp goal against Queens Park Rangers.
His time at Milan has been less successful, as he joined in a period of change. Many of Milan's senior players retired or moved on, the likes of Paolo Maldini, and Gennaro Gattuso.
This resulted in Milan struggling last season, and being even worse this time around, only just in the top half of the Serie A.
New manager and former AC Milan player Clarence Seedorf will do his upmost to ensure Balotelli is a Milan player at the start of next season, but it will be hard if the Rossoneri do not improve in their domestic competitions.
For Arsenal, Balotelli would be just what they need, with Olivier Giroud struggling to find the form that he displayed at the start of the season.
The Gunners only have one other back up striker, Nicklas Bendtner, who is hardly the best forward in the world, and Balotelli would be perfect for them to mount another attempt at lifting the Premier League title at the end of next season.
