We start with Lee Westwood’s split from his swing coach Sean Foley. With a Winless last season, the former world number one has dropped to 33rd in the rankings and missed the cut, last time out at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Westwood joins a packed field at Riviera Country Club including Justin Rose, who’ll be making his season debut.

Last year’s U.S. Open champion has been nursing a shoulder injury but has kept his fans in the loop with regular instagram updates. The 33-year-old will be hoping to bring last year’s form into this season - Rose has carded top 10 finishes in his last six appearances.

The great and the good are in Los Angeles and journalist Geoff Shackelford spotted a unique bag during the Pro-Am. We’re not sure who this great white belongs to but we think it’s going to take some beating.
