Manchester United need a €13million bid to initiate talks for Galatasaray defender Semih Kaya, according to reports.
Turkish publication Milliyet claims that Napoli, Roma and the Red Devils are all interested in signing the player, who has become a first-team regular under Roberto Mancini.
And, the paper goes on to report that the aforementioned figure will trigger talks over a move away from the Türk Telekom Arena.
The Red Devils are expected to be in the market for a centre back at the end of the season, with Nemanja Vidic confirming he's to leave Old Trafford and Rio Ferdinand reaching the later stages of his career.
It's unclear whether Manchester United manager David Moyes will have Champions League football to offer his potential targets however, with the Premier League champions currently languishing in seventh as the season moves towards its final stages.
It promises to be a defining summer for Moyes, who has struggled with the expectation of succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, and signing a defender could be key to their future success.
