NFL Draft prospect Teddy Bridgewater is no doubt a talented quarterback that would be a vital component in any of the prospective NFL teams, but does he have the star power?
The other quarterbacks that are to be selected in this year's NFL Draft have something that Bridgewater does not, that famous tag for one reason or another.
Manziel has the Heisman Trophy, which automatically makes him above the majority of NFL prospects, but it's his charisma that he's showcased on TV that makes him stand out.
These reasons for going early in the Draft aren't related to football really, but they nonetheless have their merits.
Blake Bortles, another high round prospect, has his girlfriend as the key component of his fame. Yes, that doesn't make him a great QB, but it makes him well known for sure.
Bortles girlfriend is more popular than Bortles himself, with her having 6,000 more followers on Twitter, and also she acts as the main search for searches related to the former UCF QB.
These reasons shouldn't be the reason for Bridgewater's potential demise in the NFL Draft, but at the end of the day bad publicity is good publicity, and Bridgewater doesn't have as much publicity as either Manziel or Bortles.
