Furious Arsenal fans hit back at Chelsea manager on Twitter

Hell hath no fury like an Arsenal fan scorned.

The Gunners faithful have been up in arms, incandescent with rage, after Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho labelled Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger “a specialist in failure” earlier today.

These antagonistic quotes were never going to go down well with the Arsenal supporters - particularly those on Twitter - and so it’s proved over the last few hours.

When ITV Sport asked fans of the north London outfit to air their views about Mourinho’s latest comments, they perhaps got a little more than they bargained for.

“Dear Jose, just go to hell,” typed one unimpressed fan, while another wrote: “Mourinho is a successful manager, he's also a horrible, classless little twerp. We've known this for a decade now. Carry on.”

“Sacked twice in 6 years = Failure,” read another tweet, alluding to the fact Mourinho was effectively dismissed from his roles at Chelsea and Real Madrid.

And another user simply put: “he's an ignorant fool!”.

As you can imagine, there are plenty more venomous comments - some of which are downright X-rated - available to read by using the Twitter search.

Those under the age of 18, however, are advised to steer clear.
