Arsene Wenger is ready to ignore the FA Cup to set his sights very high on the Champions League in order to win against Bayern Munich next Wednesday.

After having picked just five points in their last four matches, Arsenal's boss could rest his best players in Sunday's FA Cup fifth round against Liverpool.

He told many of his men that they will start Sunday, and he could make up to nine changes according to the Daily Mail.

The north London club suffered a 5-1 defeat against the Reds last week, and could this time be hammered a second time at the Emirates.

German giants Bayern Munich fly to north London next Wednesday, and being the favourite to win the elite tournament, the Gunners could prioritise the European clash.

Arsenal are going through two heavy months where they saw Chelsea flying up to first place in the Premier League table, after having already dropped six points in this crucial period.

The gap between the top of the table and the fifth place has now been reduced to seven points, and anything is possible.

The final race for the Premier League tittle has now started, and Wenger has to think about a new strategy as Arsenal look to protect his weak attacking line.

Moreover with Mesut Ozil not showing his £42million value, the Gunners boss has to react quickly and if he does not want to see his side going further down in the table.
