It has been reported that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Chelsea defender David Luiz.
Jose Mourinho has enjoyed playing David Luiz in holding midfield and central defence this season and this versatility could be what has attracted the French side.
Mourinho will presumably not want to let him leave as he could be a fine replacement for veteran John Terry who will no doubt be retiring in the next few years.
Also Frank Lampard, who has been deployed deeper as he has aged, may be replaced by Luiz, who is equally adept in both positions.
For PSG, they will surely want to replace another ageing player, Brazilian Alex. Luiz, only 26, could be a great partner for fellow Brazilian Thiago Silva, who has been a rock at the heart of the title-winning Paris based squad.
Youngster Marquinhos could also learn a lot from Luiz, as they have many similar attributes. Marquinhos is good on the ball, fast, and can pick out a pass, but is inexperienced and cannot be trusted in the huge games.
