Manchester United defender set to anger fans

Manchester United supporters may understandably be irritated by Alexander Buttner after the defender posted an Instagram snap of himself relaxing with a cocktail on Dubai beach during a training break.

The Premier League champions are enduring a painful season with the club having as good as relinquished their title, while they are in severe danger of missing out on place in the Champions League next season.

David Moyes’ side have won only two of their last seven league outings and, with no game this weekend in the FA Cup, the Manchester United manager took the decision to move training to far warmer climes.

But with fans under the impression the underachieving Manchester United squad have been working intensely to arrest their slide, Buttner showed that they have also been afforded a chance to put their feet up.

This, of course, does not necessarily reflect the purpose of the trip to Dubai, but fans of the club can be rightfully annoyed some players are sipping drinks in relative paradise given their collective failure so far this term.
