Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta believes Arsenal play the most attractive football in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old Spanish World Cup-winner, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, feels that the Gunners try to play football in what he perceives to be ‘the right way’.

“I think Arsenal still play the best football in England,” he told reporters. “They play in a style in the way that most emulates what we do at Barcelona - and what is in our opinion the right way to approach the game.

“They may not have spent what other teams have in England - but their football philosophy is the most attractive in England.”

Arsenal have earned plenty of plaudits for their style of play under Arsene Wenger; however, the north London outfit are yet to win a single trophy since 2005.

Everyone associated with the Gunners hopes the current team can end end the nine-year trophy drought, with the Premier League, Champions League and, at the time of writing, FA Cup still up for grabs.

Wenger’s men are currently one point behind Premier League-leaders Chelsea with 12 matches of the season left to play, while on Wednesday they play the first of their two-legged Champions League last 16 tie against reigning European champions Bayern Munich.
