The WWE have provided fans with some of the greatest moments in not only WWE history, but wrestling history.

Hulk Hogan taking on Andre The Giant, Hogan passing the baton on to The Rock, who ultimately passed it on to John Cena, who could potentially pass it on to Bray Wyatt in a couple of months time.

The WWE have made some mistakes but their positives definitely outweigh the negatives. Sting is the most famous superstar to have never stepped inside a WWE ring, preferring to leave rather than join the remainder of the WCW roster as WWE bought out the company. Nevertheless Sting has made a massive career for himself and will always go down as one of the greatest despite never having wrestled in the WWE but that could soon change.

The Undertaker and Sting are parallels, they both try to better each other despite being in different companies, and now the WWE are in the best position they have ever been to finally sign Sting after years of coming up short.

However reports suggest that the company are dragging their feet in signing Sting, and do not see him as a top priority and that come back to haunt them if they continue to drag this whole saga out, if Sting is willing to sign for your company, you make sure you go out and sign him. It is as simple as that.

Word is that WWE are not in a major rush to sign him as they are not looking to use him at WrestleMania 30; even though Sting was hoping he could get himself inside the ring against The Undertaker. Instead, it seems the WWE want to sign Sting to bring him our after WrestleMania XXX so the fans can get used to his appearance, especially the children who will have no idea who he is and what he has done for the company.

A year of appearing on screen would mean he gets The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 in San Francisco, and could also be inducted to the Hall of Fame that year.

The majority of Undertaker’s WrestleMania opponents meet The Undertaker in his private gym to work out their match and Sting would be willing to do this as he lives in Dallas, a perfect scenario. Even more so when it is expected that The Undertaker’s rumoured opponent this year, Brock Lesnar will not be willing to put in any additional work.

It seems everything is up in the air at the moment, WWE continue to wait and who knows, maybe it could be because Sting wants a guarantee that he will beat The Undertaker? Or the WWE could simply be waiting for a better time or situation to bring him in? However it still needs to happen.
