2. Trevor Hoffman

Hoffman from 1993 to 2010 placed his name as a long-time closer in MLB history. Hoffman pitched for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, and the Milwaukee Brewers. 

15 years with San Diego Padres made him not only a legend, but part of the San Diego community. 

He was the first pitcher to crossed the 600 closing saves. Hoffman holds the all time second place with 601 saves.
