Manchester United are keeping a close eye on a £35million Manchester City and PSG target Eliaquim Mangala, according to Record.
The report claims Manchester United manager David Moyes is especially keen on the Porto defender and send scouts to take another look at him in their 2-1 win away at Gil Vicente in the Primeira Liga on Sunday evening.
However, any move by the Old Trafford club for Mangala could well draw some hefty competition as both Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain have been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old.
The Etihad Stadium club could not come to an agreement with Porto on deadline day of the January transfer window, which leaves the door open for either their rivals at Old Trafford or the big-spending Ligue 1 club.
With reports claiming Porto wanting at least £35million for the centre-back, Mangala's price could sky rocket if a bidding war ensues with the financial might of Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG fuelling it.
