The likes of Triple H, John Cena, Randy Orton and The Undertaker have been at the top of the WWE for many years now, some longer than others. And it is obvious that these superstars, however successful, will not be around forever.

As massive WWE fans we know that this day will eventually come yet we refuse to believe it or just stick it into the back of our minds and will deal with it later. But as the years go by the length of the careers shorten by a year.

Triple H has already shifted into his corporate role whilst The Undertaker makes fewer and fewer appearances, John Cena is slowing down and in a couple of years Randy Orton will also probably be at the end of his career.

Currently we do have somebody who is capable of carrying the company, by selling merchandise and gaining a brilliant reaction from the crowd. And he can wrestle, which is obviously a big positive so Daniel Bryan probably is the top superstar in the WWE.

So, who will the company turn to once these guys have gone? Which superstar will rake in the money through merchandise and keep the fans interested week in, week out?
I have listed the top three superstars who I think will be able to carry the WWE in the near future and will do a very good job of it also.

Pound-for-pound, the strongest man on the roster is also one of the best and most reliable in-ring performers in the WWE today. There was a lot of hype surrounding his WWE debut after his brilliant career on the independent circuit and he certainly has shown that he is somebody that can assist in carrying the WWE into the future.

Perhaps he isn’t a massive merchandise seller when you compare him to John Cena worldwide and Rey Mysterio in Mexico, but he does have a sold fan base in Europe and that could increase in the coming months. He can wrestle as I have said, there is no doubt about that and to prove it you can watch his two-out-of-three falls match against Sami Zayn which has gone down as one of the best matches in recent years in the WWE.

The WWE are slowly showing a lot more faith in Cesaro, The Real Americans are now one of the best teams in the WWE and now Jack Swagger has earned himself a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber against Big E. The WWE recently dropped the ‘Antonio’ from his name and want to move forward with him simply as Cesaro but the fact that Cesaro has been placed in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship just shows how much faith they are showing in him by competing in a match of this stature, and he will cement his bright future at the event and carry this performance forward.

Bray Wyatt had a lot of doubters even on this website which I read most weeks and it was disappointing to read, I know how much potential Bray Wyatt has and it was not his fault that his match against Kane was less than impressive, Kane rarely makes anybody look good in the ring. But that fact that Bray Wyatt got Kane in his first feud on the main roster just shows how far he has come from his Husky Harris days.

Bray Wyatt is very quick for a big man and can definitely compete at the top level. And let’s not get started on his microphone work, it was revealed that he writes his own promos which is brilliant and innovative as he really embraces his character unlike many superstars. But Bray Wyatt has already shown signs that he is one of the superstars that will carry the company.
Ever since his debut alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan Bray Wyatt has been in some epic bouts, most notably against Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble. But how many superstars can say they had Kane, Daniel Bryan, John Cena and The Shield in a feud within their first year in the main roster? Not a lot of superstars can boast something like this and it is exactly what Bray Wyatt deserves. Very soon Wyatt will prove his doubters wrong and he will certainly solidify himself as one of WWE’s best in the coming years.

Roman Reigns will carry the WWE on his shoulders and become the face of the WWE, it is that simple. Roman Reigns has been the breakout star of The Shield and has proven the ‘experts’ wrong who thought it will be Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins that will make the biggest impact, but Reigns has certainly proved a lot of people wrong and continues to do so.

It is funny to think he is the future, he has the least experience and probably not the best microphone skills but that is something he has used to his advantage. He talks in an imposing manner and intimidates his opponents with few words, and it is effective. He has been fast tracked to the main event picture and as fans it is only a matter of when, when will he eventually break away from The Shield?

Even with the lack of experience Reigns has had some brilliant matches and continues to improve every single week. His new drop kick into the ring is something to admire, his spear is one of the best and he makes the Superman punch look extravagant. The WWE do believe in Reigns, in his first ever Royal Rumble he broke the record number of eliminations with 12 and that probably will not be broken in the near future.

I can guarantee you this, Roman Reigns will become WWE World Heavyweight Champion very soon.
