Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on bringing Karim Benzema to the Emirates Stadium in the summer, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

Wenger is thought to be a long-term admirer of the Real Madrid striker and could finally land his fellow countryman at the end of the season.

Real Madrid may choose to cash in on the Frenchman during the summer transfer window as Benzema's current deal is due to expire at the end of the 2014/15 campaign.

The 26-year-old, who has scored 14 La Liga goals in 23 games for Real Madrid so far this season, is thought to also be attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

Reports suggest Benzema, who is valued at £27million, is keen on committing his long-term future to Real Madrid as he is settled in Spain and is enjoying his football.

However Real Madrid may look to cash in on the former Lyon forward if they can entice Luis Suarez away from Anfield to the Santiago Bernabeu.
