Manchester City vs Barcelona

First leg: February 18 at Etihad Stadium

Second leg: March 12 at Nou Camp

One of, if not the tie of the round, this game has the potential to be a Champions League classic. With both teams playing such fluid football this season, and scoring ridiculous amounts of goals, both games should be a treat for football fans across the world.

Neymar and Lionel Messi will be vying to test their abilities against Vincent Kompany and his defence, however Alvaro Negredo and possibly Stevan Jovetic will think they have the skill to cause Gerard Pique and his teammates problems.

Their are interesting battles throughout the park, will Yaya Toure dominate the midfield? Could Messi do what he did against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United?

As this is new territory for City, they may have to combat their own nerves on Tuesday night. Many players such as Joe Hart, Negredo, Pablo Zabaleta and Jesus Navas have either not or rarely been able to feature in this stage of the competition thus far.

It'll be a close match, however Barcelona's experience may just prove vital in a game where the result is as unpredictable as Manuel Pellegrini's maths.

Prediction: 3-3 on aggregate, Barcelona to go through on away goals.
