The Champions League returns to action tomorrow, with eight mouth-watering last 16 first-leg ties spread over the course of the next week.
Of the Premier League sides involved, Arsenal and Manchester City face the most daunting tasks with respective home fixtures against holders Bayern Munich and La Liga giants Barcelona on the horizon during the coming days.
Manchester United and Chelsea, meanwhile, do not kick off their own knockout campaigns until next week and, on paper at least, appear to have entirely more favourable draws in the form of Greek outfit Olympiacos and Turkish champions Galatasaray.
So, with eight huge games to come, GMS thought we would have a go at predicting the outcome of each tie. We must stress this is only a prediction for the first-leg and we will assess things once again ahead of the second-leg games.
