Arsenal v Bayern Munich

One of the most keenly-anticipated ties of the last 16 sees Premier League outfit Arsenal - who are in contention for the title after having endured a trophy drought fating back to 2005 - square-off against holders Bayern Munich.

The first leg takes place at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, with Arsenal coming into the game off the back of a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Bayern beat Arsenal at the same stage of the competition last year on away goals. However, despite having been eliminated at the hands of the Bavarians before, Arsene Wenger's side will not be intimidated given that they actually beat Bayern in the second leg.
