Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool could all miss out on Ben Davies after surprise interest from Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Mail.

Davies, 20, has developed quickly since his debut in 2012, and the big-name clubs are watching with interest.

Welsh international Davies signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at the end of last year but this isn't putting the clubs off.

After signing the new contract, Davies said" "This [Swansea] is a great place to learn and improve and it’s nice to be rewarded for all the effort I’ve put in. I think it’s the right place to be at in terms of my career, and if I’m playing regularly and I’m happy then that’s the main thing and all I can ask for."

Swansea have said that they do not want to sell, but the prospect of playing Champions League football and against some of the best players in Spain may be difficult to turn down.
