Manchester United and Manchester City have been boosted in their pursuit of Torino forward Alessio Cerci, reports talkSPORT.
Both Manchester clubs have been linked with the Italian ace in recent time and it now appears that Torino will let their star depart for around £13 million.
Despite Torino reportedly keen to extend the forward's current contract, it appears they may have to let the star leave the club in the summer.
However, if Manchester United and Manchester do go into battle for the player's signature, then they may also be rivalled by the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan.
It remains to be seen as to whether either of Manchester United or Manchester City will stump up the £13m fee for the 26-year-old, but the player certainly seems in high demand.
Manchester United's and Manchester City's immediate attention will turn to the return of the Champions League this and next week.
Manuel Pellegrini's side will be hoping to overcome Barcelona over two legs, whilst United take on Greek side Olympiacos for a place in the quarter finals of the competition.
