Hello and welcome to GiveMeSport TV, on the day when Arsenal celebrated their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho gave the title edge to City.

We start at the Emirates Stadium, and the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Liverpool just a week after their 5-1 reverse at Anfield.

Arsene Wenger was understandably delighted about the victory, but much of the post-match talk was about Jose Mourinho and his comments that the Frenchman has been a failure in north London.

The Special One’s original remarks came before the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the late kick-off on Saturday.

Stevan Jovetic and Samir Nasri scored the goals at the Etihad Stadium, and Mourinho admitted the best team won on the day.

Elsewhere in the FA Cup, and Wigan produced a giant-killing victory at Cardiff to keep their hopes of retaining the trophy alive.

Sheffield United are the lowest ranked team left in the competition following their win over Nottingham Forest, whilst Everton and Sunderland have also booked their place in the last eight.

And finally, the big news in the world of Rugby Union is that Sam Burgess will play for Bath from October.

The England Rugby League international will complete the season with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, but is returning home for £270,000 and is in contention to play for his country at the 2015 World Cup.
