Mesut Ozil has revealed how Arsenal can beat Bayern Munich in their Champions League last-16 encounter, with the help of superheroes Hulk, Superman and Rambo.

In a post on his official Facebook page on Monday afternoon, the German playmaker welcomed the Bundesliga giants to north London, talking Pep Guardiola's side up as the current best team in world football.

Arsene Wenger's players know just how difficult a task they face in getting past the German giants, but will have to do so if they are to progress any further in Europe's elite club competition.

Ahead of Wednesday's first leg tie at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners' £42.5million signing posted a photo of himself with teammates Lukas Podolski and Bacary Sagna kitted out in fancy dress from the Arsenal Christmas party late last year.

"on wednesday evening we're competing against the official best team in the world," he said. "the good news: Hulk, Superman and Rambo are on our side. #ucl #coyg"

It's good to see that Ozil has a sense of humour. And, you can bet that he'll still be laughing on Thursday morning if Arsenal are still in with a shout of advancing heading into next month's return leg at the Allianz Arena.
