Both Steve Bruce and Oscar Garcia have reacted angrily to the date set for the FA Cup fifth round replay between their sides, according to the Independent.
Last night's game between Hull and Brighton finished 1-1 at the Amex Stadium and the replay is pencilled in to be played on Monday night, less than 48 hours after both team's weekend fixtures.
This is all due to UEFA regulations, ensuring nobody plays on the same night as team's participating in the Champions League.
Bruce said: "I find that ridiculous, I have to tell you. I don't think there will be many tuning out of Barcelona against Manchester City to tune into Hull versus Brighton, no disrespect."
Brighton boss Garcia shared his adversaries view, although he didn't go as far as delving into the Champions League issue. He commented: "I don't think it is good for anybody to play two games in three days, but it is what we have to do and we will do it."
The replay comes after a tough fixture for both teams. The Tigers play Cardiff away in a potential relegation scrap for both teams, whereas their opponents welcome Wigan to the Amex Stadium with both teams desperate to close the gap on the playoff places.
