We’re just two days removed from Bubba Watson’s win at the Northern Trust Open but tomorrow the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship gets underway.Big-hitting Bubba will be facing Mikko Ilonen in the first round and he prepared for the match against the Finn by tutoring son Caleb.

Two of golf's biggest names in social media will go head-to-head at Dove Mountain as Rickie Fowler and Ian Poulter face off. Fowler, who’s missed the cut in his last 3 appearances, posted this arty photo, of one of the many cacti dotted around the Arizona course.

With 9 million dollars up for grabs and 64 of the world’s best golfers in attendance you may have expected plenty of glamour from the PGA. However Jordan Spieth, who will be making his debut at the tournament, showed exactly how the players found out who they were facing… a simple text message, detailing his tee off time and match-up against Pablo Larrazábal.

And finally we end on some happy news, Steve Stricker’s involvement at the WGC was in doubt due to the health of his brother, who required a liver transplant. But we’re happy to report that older brother Scott had successful surgery over the weekend meaning the 2001 winner will indeed tee off against George Coetzee. That’s all for today, as ever get in touch on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and use the hashtag #GWTV.
