Patrice Evra could spark a summer transfer tussle between Juventus and Inter Milan as they prepare to vie for his signature.

The Manchester United veteran is expected to depart Old Trafford at the end of this season and Calciomercato claim the Serrie A pair are both very keen on acquiring his services.

Evra has been a mainstay at left-back for most of his time at the Red Devils, but it appears as though his time is up at the current Premier League champions, despite reports he had activated an option for an extra year in his contract.

Calciomercato report that Juventus manager Antonio Conte is very keen on recruiting the France international and that Inter Milan's new owner Erick Thorir wants to add Evra to his summer additions after, they claim, securing the free transfer of his Manchester United teammate Nemanja Vidic.

Evra's departure is reportedly part of a major overhaul of the squad at Old Trafford, with older, higher earning members of the squad set to be shipped out and Moyes keen on getting a younger starting left-back.
