Speculation over the future of Manchester United winger Nani has intensified today after he landed with a member of his entourage in Italy this morning, according to Tutto Mercato Web.
The Portugal international, who United boss David Moyes is reportedly keen to sell this summer despite handing him a new five-year contract in September, flew into Bologna.
Nani was strongly linked with a move to AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus last month, but the out-of-favour winger remains a Manchester United for the time being.
However, that is expected to change when the transfer window re-opens this summer, with Moyes planning to shift the deadwood - including Nani - from his under-performing squad.
Nani’s teammate Anderson - who will almost certainly leave Old Trafford this summer following his loan spell at Serie A outfit Fiorentina - may have inadvertently sped up the process of the winger’s departure after revealing that he too “wants out”.
Nani has suffered another injury-hit campaign, which has resulted him making just 10 appearances under Moyes this season.
In total, the frustrating winger has made just 19 Premier League appearances since the start of the 2012/13 campaign.
