WWE legend Edge reveals his dream Wrestlemania opponent

Edge was a legend during his time in WWE.

31 overall titles, including four WWE Championships and an unprecedented seven World Heavyweight Championships, saw him become a legitimate Hall-of-Famer in 2012.

Edge's big name presence, often alongside tag-team partner and 'brother' Christian, saw him headline many major events including Wrestlemania.

And now, with Wrestlemania XXX just weeks away, the now retired wrestler was asked on the organisations official podcast just who he would pick as his dream opponent if he had one more shot at the big stage.

And he had one name in particular in mind:

"Christian at Wrestlemania. A straight up wrestling match...just let us go.

"He would be my choice of all time."

Edge then went on to list a who's-who of big name stars canvassing several decades - with The Rock, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan listed amongst others as fun fights.

"but if I had to, and it was like 'you've got one more, who's it gonna be? Christian," he told Renee Young.

Edge and Christian were longtime tag team partners during their wrestling careers, winning seven Tag Team Championships together after first teaming up in the WWE  (or WWF as it was then known) in 1998.

They fought against each other on a number of occasions, most notably during a feud over the WWF Intercontinental Championship in 2001.

But it seems Edge would like one more chance to get to grips with his lifelong friend.

What do you think? Who would come out on top in this dream match up?
