LSU took another step to building a 2015 class to rival this year's impressive recruits - two steps in fact.
With the news that both Jazz Ferguson and David Ducre (both four-star rated) have committed to the program, Les Miles will be confident that the Tigers will be able to attract the very best in the nation over the coming months.
Ducre, a Louisiana native and the nation's top rated fullback, is a 6' 0", 228 pound player out of Lakeshor High School, Mandeville. He reportedly turned down offers from Southern Miss amongst others to stay in state.
Ferguson meanwhile is another local athlete, heralding from Saint Francisville.
Standing at 6' 5" and is rated the 21st best wide receiver prospect in the 2015 class nationally.
He spoke personally with Les Miles who welcomed him to the program, according to his high school head coach.
Today's activity means LSU now hold the top ranked recruiting class at this early stage, moving past Alabama and Texas A&M.
At the end of National Signing Day 2014 the Tigers finished with the second best recruiting class.
