Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was caught on camera making a w**ker gesture after he was shown a red card against Bayern Munich.

The Polish international was sent off after bringing Bayern Munich wideman Arjen Robben down inside the penalty area, which left Italian referee Nicola Rizzoli with no choice but to send Szczesny off.

David Alaba hit the resulting penalty wide of Lukasz Fabiański's post shortly after the incident at the Emirates Stadium.

Szczesny was seen making a w**ker gesture while he was walking off - with some reports suggesting that he was aiming the sign at the fourth official.

The Champions League last-16 tie encounter was full of drama during the first 45 minutes as Mesut Ozil also squandered the chance of scoring from the penalty spot.

You can watch Szczesny's gesture, which was brought to our attention by, in the video above.
