Manchester United boss David Moyes was at the Emirates Stadium last night to watch Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos.
Moyes was spotted in Germany casting his eye over Kroos at the end of January as the Manchester United manager has identified the 24-year-old as the man to solve his side's midfield problems.
And Moyes would have been impressed with Kroos' performances last night as the Germany international ran the show at the Emirates last night.
Kroos opened the scoring for the Bundesliga outfit in the 54th minute and dictated play from the heart of Bayern Munich's midfield.
The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder had shown his frustration in recent weeks at having to spend some time on the substitutes' bench, however his performance last night proved that he deserves a spot in Bayern Munich's first team.
Kroos, who is out of contract at the end of next season, is said to be valued at around £50million - despite the fact that Bayern Munich may have to cash in on the midfielder if he does not agree a new deal in the next few months.
