Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has revealed that a deal to take Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic to the club is 90% complete, reports Goal.com.
The Red Devils skipper recently revealed that he will be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season and it now appears that he's set to join the Serie A outfit.
Inter president Thohir has insisted that his side are closing in the Serbian star and an announcement could be made in the near future.
Thohir told reporters: "Cannot say more than that 90% is done. When everything is defined will make an announcement. Do not let me say anything that is not concrete yet."
With Vidic still club-captain at Manchester United, the central-defender will be hoping to end his tenure on a high with the Red Devils.
Manchester United have had a nightmare season so far and are in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification this season.
Vidic and Co. will take on Crystal Palace this weekend in a must win game for Manchester United and David Moyes.
It remains to be seen as to whether Vidic will sign a deal with Inter in the coming weeks, but United fans will be hoping their skipper stays focussed for the remainder of the season.
