Liverpool loanee Suso says he's more than happy to spend another season with Almeria in La Liga.
The Spaniard is two-thirds through a temporary spell in south Spain, and has been in good form for the Andalusians.
The midfielder has two goals an eight assists in 22 league matches this season, wouldn't mind another season in Spain's La Liga.
“I’ve got one season at Liverpool and I think it would be a good choice if I renewed and continued for another year at Almeria,” Suso told AS. “But not everything that happens is up to me.”
Suso originally planned to return to Liverpool at the end of the season, but will be content staying in his homeland. He impressed during his breakthrough season at Anfield, but was unable to secure regular playing time.
However, the Spain U-21 international is more focused on the relegation dogfight in which Almeria have entrenched themselves,
"We still have 14 games ahead and they will be 14 battles," Suso continued.
“We’ve been doing well at our place and if we continue like this we’ll have lots of ways to save ourselves. With the support of the fans it’ll be possible.”
Almeria face a stern test at home to Malaga, as Suso believes that winning matches such as these will keep them safe:
He added: “We are down there but if we beat Malaga we’ll get distance from the relegation zone, at least four points. And that, at this stage of the championship, is very important."
