The Premier League has often been described as the best league in the world - with Europe's best players often flocking to England to play for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However a few players such as Arjen Robben have gone onto win several major trophies after leaving England. 

Robben, who was sold by Chelsea to Real Madrid in 2007, showed his true qualities last night by putting in a fantastic performance against Arsenal last night. 

We take a look at the players who have either preceded or followed Robben in going onto having a fantastic career abroad after being sold by an English club.
