Khloe Kardashian launched a rant at her twitter followers today after they thought a picture she tweeted was of O.J Simpson rather than her godfather Sugar Ray Leonard, according to TMZSports.

The reality TV star originally posted the picture son instagram as part of the 'throwback thursday' trend with a caption reading: "#TBT I love this picture! My daddy. My second dad. My God father."

However, it seems that several of her followers mistook Leonard for former USC running back and convicted felon O.J Simpson.

She later tweeted to her 9.27 million followers: "For those of you that are that f**king stupid.... That's NOT OJ in my #TBT that's Sugar Ray Leonard. Some of you never fail to amaze me!"

Simpson was the first pick in the 1969 NFL draft after winning the Heisman Trophy in 1968. He was arrested in 2007 for robbery and is currently serving his jail term.

Sugar Ray Leonard, who is Kardashian's godfather boxed for 20 years, winning 36 of 40 fights.

Robert Kardashian, Khloe's father was Simpson's defense attorney at his murder trial in 1995 which is perhaps where the twitterverse got confused.

Hopefully the star has now cleared up any misconception.
