LeBron James took a hand to the face that left him bleeding onto the court against Oklahoma City Thunder, but the Miami Heat star still somehow managed to throw down the bucket with a bloodied nose.

Miami got the win in the eagerly awaited contest between LeBron and Kevin Durant, with the former emerging the victor from this personal duel with 33 points to his Team USA teammate’s 28.

One of LeBron’s most notable successes came in the fourth quarter as he streaked towards the rack in trademark fashion and was twice caught in the face by the sizeable hand of Serge Ibaka.

The first contact came as LeBron powered through for the dunk, and the second as both took off toward the rim, with the latter sending the Heat man sprawling down to the floor. But, of course, this did not prevent LeBron from nailing the slam.

With LeBron crumpled on the court he could be seen clutching his nose, with blood clearly dripping through his fingers.
