Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has hit back at rumours he and team-mate Mathieu Flamini were involved in a training ground altercation by posting a hilarious photo on Twitter of the pair pretending to square up to each other.
The picture sees the Frenchman grabbing the 22-year-old by the scruff of the neck and posing as if he's about to unleash a right hook.
Wilshere is seen wincing in preparation for the punch, but put an end to speculation of a fall-out with Flamini by tweeting a light-hearted message of apology.
"Flam was not happy when I walked on the bus tonight!" he said. "Sorry mate I promise to never disagree with you again!! #Angry"
The pair were photographed in the middle of a heated exchange at Arsenal's London Colney training base on Friday morning, with Bacary Sagna seemingly playing the role of peacemaker, as reported by the Daily Mail.
However, judging by Wilshere's latest tweet the whole incident has been blown way out of proportion, and harmony in the Gunners camp appears to be just fine as Arsene Wenger's side prepare to take on Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
