Arsenal have been handed another injury blow as reports have emerged that defender Kieran Gibbs is likely to miss three weeks with a lower back and hamstring problem.
Gibbs was forced to come off in the first half of Arsenal's defeat to Bayern Munich in their Champions League last 16 first leg on Wednesday and will be a big miss for the Gunners.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the England international got the results of a scan on the affected areas and they showed minor damage, but enough to rule him out of the next couple of games.
Arsene Wenger has Nacho Monreal as a ready replacement, but the Spain international has struggled with his form in recent weeks and Gibba had been performing well.
The report claims the 24-year-old will be aiming to return for either Arsenal's FA Cup quarter-final with Everton at Emirates Stadium or the second leg against Bayern Munich, though either game would be a long shot.
It is an injury that will also affect Gibbs' chances of making it into the England squad fro the World Cup in Brazil this summer as it will keep him out of the friendly with Denmark early next month.
