Arsenal coaches feel Arsene Wenger should give a chance to Lukas Podolski and feel that the German deserves a run of a few games in the side.
According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners staff have been impressed with the former FC Koln forward in training and feel he could help add some goals to the team if Wenger was inclined to pick him.
Podolski has struggled for starts this season after doing reasonably well in his first season as an Arsenal player, but has performed well when called upon by Wenger, scoring three goals in his last four starts.
While he has been mooted as an option to occupy the centre-forward position as Olivier Giroud's private life and Yaya Sanogo playing two games in only a few days have led to some uncertainty about who can occupy it.
Podolski started the season well with two goals in a win over Fulham for Arsenal's second Premier League match, but pulled up with a serious hamstring injury in the cub's Champions League qualification win over Fenerbahce.
