Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been warned to expect a hostile reception by Stoke City supporters ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash at the Britannia Stadium.

The message, which was published by a Stoke fanzine, warned the Wales international: "Okay Mr. Ramsey… All bets are off!"

The fanzine claim that Stoke supporters were antagonised by Ramsey's decision to make a "shush" gesture after scoring against the Potters in September.

The 23-year-old has been booed by Stoke fans every time he has faced the Staffordshire-based club since suffering a broken leg in a match against them in 2010.

And this bizarre behaviour will continue this weekend, if the Stoke City fanzine is to be believed.

"By running directly over to the travelling Stoke fans pointing, smiling and giving us the 'shush' finger you seem more than happy for this stupid situation to continue to be drawn out," read the message.

"Next time you play at the Britannia Stadium, let's have no whining and trying to take the moral high ground when you get the kind of reception your actions have inevitably guaranteed."
