The Barclays Premier League is home to some of the best teams and players in the world and, if they were to combine, it would be a deadly force. Let’s have a look at some of the players that would make up such a starting XI...
Goalkeeper: Petr Cech – Chelsea
While Joe Hart is a potential candidate, he would have to show more consistency for a longer period of time. Chelsea 'keeper Cech is a very reliable option.
Right-back: Kyle Walker – Tottenham
A consistent performer for Spurs, Walker has attracted attention from some of Europe’s major clubs.
Centre-back: Laurent Koscielny – Arsenal
One of the Premier League’s world-class players, Koscielny has been wonderful for Arsenal this season.
Centre-back: Vincent Kompany – Manchester City
While he has been plagued with injuries of late, if the big Belgian can return to full fitness, he would be a huge player for the Premier League title hopefuls.
Left-back: Leighton Baines – Everton
The England international recently signed a renewal of his contract at Everton. Leighton Baines is one of the best left-backs in the world.
Holding-midfield: Yaya Toure – Manchester City
With his power, pace and passing, Toure is an unbelievable player.
Central-midfield: Jack Wilshere – Arsenal
While his teammate Aaron Ramsey has had a fantastic season, I believe that Jack will prove to be one of the best in the world a couple years in from now.
Right-wing: Jesus Navas – Manchester City
One of the weakest positions in the team, Navas is still though a fatastic, pacey winger.
Left-wing: Eden Hazard – Chelsea
One of the stars of the season, the Belgian magician is only going to get better.
Deep-lying striker: Luis Suarez – Liverpool
A brilliant goalscorer, Suarez is also a fine creator of goals and is the most in-form player in the world.
Striker: Sergio Aguero – Manchester City
Having had an unbelievable season so far, Aguero will cause havoc at this year's world cup.
