Jack Whitehall has mingled with the biggest celebrity names over the years but even he was starstruck when he met LeBron James.

The British comedian appeared on ITV's Jonathan Ross Show last weekend and relived the night he partied with the four time MVP and the rest of team USA while they were in Manchester for an exhibition game against Great Britain, prior to the 2012 Olympics.

According to Whitehall, LeBron and Co. were looking for somewhere to unwind and the 25-year-old, a former student at the University of Manchester, knew the perfect place to go.

Whitehall led the All-star squad to a Manchester nightspot but was turned away at the door by a bouncer, but luckily James came to the rescue.

James looked back and delivered a simple but effective message to get his new pal through the door, shouting: "Hey, the white guy is with us."

I don't know about you but this has made me the Miami Heat's main man even more likeable than before.
