Jose Mourinho has ruled Chelsea out of the title race once again claiming they have no goalscorer, while also taking a dig at Samuel Eto'o's age.
The Portugese, previously referred to his team as a "little horse" in the Premier League race, denying his team have a chance of winning the league this year.
Mourinho told French TV channel Canal Plus: "No, it is not possible. We don't have a goal scorer."
Fernando Torres and Demba Ba will surely be raising their eyebrows about their manager's comments, with both having lost their place to Samuel Eto'o this season.
He then singled out Eto'o's age.
"Samuel Eto'o. Yes, Eto'o, but he is 32, maybe even 35, I don't know."
There has also been rumours circulating that Eden Hazard will leave in the summer to make way for a new striker to enhance Chelsea's title charge.
The Chelsea boss responded to these rumours by saying: "No, Eden is our boy. He is the boy we want to have for ten years and build the team around him. What if PSG offer 100 million? Only if Financial Fair Play does not exist, and if Financial Fair Play does not exist, we have the money to say no."
Jose also took the opportunity to take a swipe at Ligue 1 club Monaco, distancing his club with a move for their star striker, Radamel Falcao.
"No, it is impossible. We don't have Falcao and Falcao does not have a team. He plays in front of 3,000 people, a player cannot play in front of 3,000 people. For me, if one day I coach Monaco, it is to finish my career. It will be the end."
