Floyd Mayweather celebrates birthday in outrageous style

Floyd Mayweather gave his millions of followers on social media site Twitter an insight into how someone as rich as he celebrates a 37th birthday.

Mayweather posted a selfie of himself on his private jet before releasing a video showing that his ludicrously big entourage and security team joined him on the flight.

He also posted a photo of his cake shaped like $30,000 in cash, paying homage to his 'Money' nickname.

And that nickname is well earnt. His last fight earned him a reported $41.5m and the boxer has made no secret for his love of cash. He also famously carries wads of $100 notes with him in a Nike bag.

The eight-time undefeated world title holder was later pictured at an LA Lakes game surrounded by female friends; convenient as he recently split up with girlfriend Shantel Jackson.

Mayweather is set to fight on May 3 but is yet to decide on his opponent. Using a Twitter poll to get fans to decide, the vote is currently heavily weighted in favour of Argentine Marcos Maidana, with a match up against Brit Amir Khan looking less likely by the day.

Khan is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail: "No response from Mayweather or his team. Fight’s not happening. I should have taken the title fight last December against [Devon] Alexander."
