Luol Deng won't be playing for Orlando Magic next season

Luol Deng has had a difficult 2013-14 NBA season and he must feel like he doesn't know whether he is coming or going.

Before this season, Deng had spent nine seasons with the Chicago Bulls, and had gone from a competent player to one that had made the All-Star Game for the past two seasons.

Then come January 7th, 2014, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a move which took him by shock, and now it seems that he doesn't want to be going anywhere else anytime soon

It was thought that Deng would again be traded by the February 20th deadline, but that wasn't the case.

Some say that Deng's current achilles injury problems could have been one of the reasons for teams opting to not trade for the small forward.

And now it seems that Deng would not be willing to part personally from Cleveland even at the end of the season to the Orlando Magic, who are one of the many teams that have been rumored to be his future destination.

However, Steve Kyler from Basketball Insiders explains.

"Luol is a friend. I know him very well and I can tell you he’s not looking at the Magic this summer. He is going to look for his championship ring."

The Magic aren't going to win a ring anytime soon, so it seems if he does move on again in the summer, it won't be Orlando where he will be living.
