The WWE have officially announced that Randy Orton and Batista will headline this year's WrestleMania, reports wrestlinginc.com.

The announcement comes after Orton retained his WWE title in the Elimination Chamber last night. Orton managed to squeeze past the likes of John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Co. to retain his title and will now be heading to the main event at the 'Grandest Stage of them All.'

His opponent Batista, who only made his return to the industry last month, booked his title shot after winning this year's 30-man Royal Rumble.

The highly anticipated WrestleMania XXX, which will be broadcasted on April 6 from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, will see two of the best wrestlers in the industry go head-to-head.

WWE fans around the universe will be getting extremely excited as the build up to WrestleMania continues over the coming weeks.

It's expected that a number of other matches will be announced in due course, with many wrestling fans waiting to see who the Undertaker will defend his streak against this time around.
